Clean your stone using a hand:
Cleaning the stone by hand is one of the simplest and safest ways. Firstly, the stone needs to be fully cooled in the oven for an hour. Then you need to brush or scrape stuck pieces of burnt food using a stone brush or plastic spatula. The next thing to do is to wipe the pizza stone using a damp cloth with warm water.
You should never use soap on your pizza stone for cleaning purpose because this may ruin the stone forever. If your stone is still not clean then you can soak your pizza stone in plain water for a night as last resort.
Before using it again, make sure the stone is completely dried up. You need to allow the stone at least 1-2 hours to dry.

Clean your stone using Baking Soda:
Cleaning your stone with baking soda is another safe way. At first, you need to mix equal parts baking soda and warm water in a bowl. Then you need to mix it until it forms a paste and it should have the consistency of toothpaste. Before applying the solution, you need to remove large burnt chunks of food using a plastic spatula.
When the large chunks are removed, scrub the solution into your stone with a brush. Once your scrubbing is done, wipe the stone with a damp cloth. The last thing to do is to let the pizza stone dry completely.
Clean your stone using Self-Cleaning function:
The first thing you need to do before applying self-cleaning function is to clean the oven properly and make sure that it’s completely clear of grease and dried food. Though the self-cleaning feature will do its work still you need to wipe off your stone with a dishrag to prevent smoke. Then you need to place the stone in the oven and slowly increase the heat of the oven.
Allow the preheat function to increase the temperature gradually until it gets to 500 degrees. Once it reaches 500 degrees, leave the stone in the oven for at least an hour. Then turn on the self-cleaning function and let the full cycle run unless there is a fire.
Watch the pizza stone through the window carefully and don not open your oven while it is self-cleaning because of the smoke. If you see any fire, turn off the self-cleaning function right away.
The last thing to do is to allow your pizza stone to cool. Be warned to use this method only once because repeating this procedure may crack your pizza stone.
