Start with preheating your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then cover your cooking sheet or pizza pan with foil paper or a greased parchment paper.

Put the leftover on it. Spray some water on the pizza slices. Now cover the pan with another piece of foil paper. Bake the pizza for 10 to 15 minutes.

Imagine how you feel when you take a bite of Chicago style deep dish pizza. Steps to Reheat A Deep Dish Pizza

Step 1: Preheat your oven

First of all, you need to prepare your oven for reheating the pizza. Preheat your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a celsius scale, the temperature is close to 175 degrees. Be careful when you set the temperature of the oven.

Step 2: Prepare Your Pan

Take out your pizza pan or your cooking sheet. Now take a piece of foil paper and cover your pan with it. Make sure you have covered the pan in a proper way. Do not leave any space without foiling. Use cooking spray on the cover.

If you have run out of aluminum foil you can use another technique. Grease some butter on parchment paper. And cover your pan with it.

Step 3: Place your leftover

Put the slice of your deep dish on the foil-covered cooking sheet. If you have more that one slice of pizza does not place them too close. Make sure you have left enough space between them. It helps to reheat the pizza properly.

Step 4: Spray some water

The crust of the leftover pizza becomes hard like a stale bread. You can not reheat the pizza without adding any moisture because your crust might get brunt.

So spray a little bit of water on the pizza. It will add nice moisture to your pizza slices. Do not use much water unless you want to eat a soggy pizza.

Step 5: Cover your pizza

Now cover your pizza with another piece of aluminum foil paper. Although this step does not seem so important but it is a must. The covering on the pizza prevents the moisture from escaping. So you get a nice and tasty slice of pizza.

Step 6: Bake your pizza

Now it is time to bake your leftover pizza. Generally, it takes almost 10 to 15 minutes to reheat a slice of pizza. But sometimes it takes 5 or 10 minutes more.

Check your pizza every 5 minutes after the first 20 minutes. Take out the pizza once it is done. And enjoy!

Other Options to Reheat Deep Dish Pizza

You can also use skillet to reheat your leftover deep dish pizza.

Put your skillet on the burner in a medium flame. Coat your pan with a thin layer of olive oil. Do not add excessive oil into the pan. Now put your deep dish pizza in the skillet and cover the pan.

Covering is very important to melt the cheese of the pizza. Leave the pizza for 2-3 minutes to cook. Once you are done serve the slices immediately.

If these options are not available you can use a toaster to reheat your pizza. But never use a microwave oven for this. Your pizza crust will be soggy in this way. And who would like to eat a soggy crust? So, follow our steps to reheat and satisfy your craving for deep dish pizza.
