While we’ve yet to try out this particular model (there are a ton on the market after all!), we’re big fans of the Vitamix 5300 which we dubbed our best value pick for pro-style blenders. These two blenders are nearly neck and neck in our tests. The Vitamix scores slightly higher for making soup, but Ninja rates a little better for ease of use. They’re tied in the icy drinks, ice crushing, and noise tests.

If you’re a foodie who plans on making smoothies, soups, and salsas day in and day out, it’s a blender you’ll be thrilled to own.
